A beautiful collection of seven American pottery tiles, including five from Pewabic Pottery and two from Moravian Pottery and Tile Works, designed by Henry Mercer. Mercer tiles include "The Rainmaker" and the larger "Jonah and The Whale", both marked and dated 1991 at the underside. Pewabic tiles include a green glaze bird, a man on a horse in yellow, a boy astride a fish in blue, a blue floral tile, and a large twelve-pointed green glaze tile with designs of deer and corn. "Jonah and The Whale" measures 4 5/8" x 8", deer tile measures 8" x 8" *note - no chips/cracks/repairs, blue floral tile makers mark is difficult to read, adhesive felt
