A Pair of French 1st Standard Silver Salt Cellars and Small Serving Tray
both with partially rubbed maker's mark and hexagonal Minerva standard, first the salt cellars in urn form with gadrooned rim on scrolled feet, retailed by Leon Lapar of Paris (active from 1878 to 1897), includes cobalt glass liners, no monogram (1 3/8 x 2 in.) (light scratches, and some salt tarnish chipping to liners, one liner with crack); the tray with beaded border, "B" monogram (4 3/4 x 5 3/4 in.) (scratches and dents from use).
