This Series of Sketches of the Interior & Temporary Decorations in Woolley-Hall, Yorkshire], first edition, lacking lithographed portrait and pictorial title but with 28 views on 20 plates printed by C. Hullmandel, all tipped to drab brown leaves, no text as issued, light foxing to plates (mostly marginal but affecting a few images), some a little creased at corners where glued, one torn and repaired, a few small tears to edges of drab leaves (most repaired), modern half crimson morocco over marbled boards, spine gilt in compartments, folio, [by the artist], [1821].

⁂ Scarce. The Italian painter Agostino Aglio was employed to decorate the walls of the drawing room of Woolley Hall with panels of classical Italian landscapes, as part of the improvements by Godfrey Wentworth. Some of the plates show interiors of the house but most are of Aglio's paintings.
