Description
3 framed and matted Japanese woodblock prints. 2 by Utagawa Hiroshige (aka Tokutaro Ando). From his "Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido" series: "8. Oiso (Rain on a Town by the Coast)". Artwork measures approximately 13 3/4" x 8 3/4" by sight and is in overall fine condition, perhaps exhibiting some toning. From the "One Hundred Famous Views of Edo" series: "Sudden Shower Over Shin-Ohashi Bridge and Atake." Artwork measures 9 1/4" x 14 1/4" by sight and is in fine condition. And by his protege, Hiroshige II (aka Chinpei Suzuki or Kissai Rissho/Ryusho), from his "Famous Places of the Tokaido" series: "Sukiyagaki, the Eastern Capital." Artwork measures approximately 8 3/4" x 12 3/4" and is in fine condition. Not inspected out of frames. Frames measure approximately 20 1/2" x 16 3/4" x 1/2" and are in fair condition with scuffs, dings and scratches throughout. Ready to hang. Keywords: Asia, Asian, Japan, ukiyo-e, printmaking
