EXTREMELY RARE RUSSIAN WHITE GUARD REGIMENTAL FLAG, KORNILOV, 1919
An extremely rare Russian Civil War-era Kornilov Regiment flag from Kuban is available. The flag is made of red and black fabric and features an image of a skull and the number '12' to represent the unit. The Kornilov Regiment is one of the earliest, most renowned, and longest-lasting shock military units in the Russian army, later becoming the first regiment of the Volunteer Army.
TEST: This particular item passed very important test - it does not glow under the black lamp (all fabrics made after 1945 glow under the black light).

WIKIPEDIA: Lavr Georgiyevich Kornilov was a Russian military intelligence officer, explorer, and general of Siberian Cossack origin in the Imperial Russian Army during World War I and the ensuing Russian Civil War. He is today best remembered for the Kornilov Affair, an unsuccessful endeavor in August/September 1917 that was intended to strengthen Alexander Kerensky's Provisional Government, but which led to Kerensky eventually having Kornilov arrested and charged with attempting a coup detat, and ultimately undermined Kerensky's rule. Kornilov escaped from jail in November 1917, and subsequently became the military commander of the anti-Bolshevik Volunteer Army. He and his troops were badly outnumbered in many of their encounters, and he was killed by a shell on 13 April 1918 while laying siege to Ekaterinodar, the capital of the Kuban Soviet Republic.
