This prop is composed of a painted resin material that features a gold-tone and metal-like finish. Along the seam of rounded and flat sections, a faux welding bead is present to further enhance its metal-like appearance.

The component was production made for the scene featuring Stark escaping from the terrorist group called, the Ten Rings, after being held hostage in Afghanistan. Stark's Mark I suit sustained heavy damage during his escape and crashed into the sand in the desert and the suit is broken up into pieces all around him.
