Description
"Flowers, watercolors 1930s-1960s", by V.M. Konashevich, set of 13 art postcards in a folder published by "Soviet Artist" Publishers, Moscow, 1972.
Standard size: 6" x 4" [150mm x 105mm]; the folder shows a little soiling, wear and corner bent [see photo], the cards are in very good condition, suitable for scrap-booking or framing.
Vladimir Mikhaylovich Konashevich (1888-1963), was a Russian graphic artist and illustrator. Among his artwork are illustrations for Manon Lescaut and Andersen's The Fairy Tales. Konashevich also illustrated the works of Samuil Marshak, and Daniil Kharms' "Play." His artworks are in the collections of several museums.
