Buckeye Brass 3" Diameter / 12" Tall Three Chime Steam Whistle Three chime Buckeye Brass Works three chime steam whistle. The whistle is stamped Buckeye Brass Works Dayton O at the top edge. Whistle measures 12" tall with a 1" inlet. The red paint shows minor discoloration from heat and the arm also has some minor flash rust. The valve moves freely with good return action with the return spring. The acorn nut is present and in good condition. This whistle is part of Rail & Road Auctions "Sound it and Sell it!" event in partnership with the Kentucky Steam Heritage Corporation. This whistle was blown on live steam during their October 7th, 2023 whistle blow in Irvine Kentucky. This whistle was featured on the Delay in Block Productions Youtube livestream.
