Twelve Pieces of Kansas City Southern Railroad Roxbury China and New Georgia Railroad Teapot A mixed group of dining car china in the Roxbury pattern for the Kansas City Southern Lines Railroad by Syracuse and a teapot for The New Georgia Railroad by Shenango. KCS items include a 3" tall coffee cup and a 6" saucer with date code 6-U, a 2 1/2" tall tea cup date code 5-R Pat. Pending and a 5 1/4" saucer date code 3-T, a 2 7/8" coffee cup 6-V, a 2 1/4" tall creamer, 3 1/2" tall creamer, 2 1/2" tall handled creamer date code 5-Q Pat. Pending, a 3 1/4" covered pot with notched lid date code 2-X, and a 4" covered sugar dish with lid date code 11-U. The dishes vary in condition showing general signs of use with mild to moderate utensil scratches, discoloration along the edge, leftover adhesive marks, and dust from storage. The smaller covered pot has a 1/4" chip along one of the top corners, as well as a glaze crack with visible discoloration. Also included is a 4 1/2" tall teapot with lid side marked The New Georgia Railroad on one side and a graphic of A&WP No. 290 locomotive on the other side, bottom stamped Shenango D-44. The teapot shows minimal signs of use with a few light scratches and leftover stickers along the top edge and bottom. No other notable chips, cracks or breaks.
