Small Collection of Electric Railway Ephemera - AERA Sign, Maps, Photographs, Books, and More A notable item among this small group of electric railway ephemera includes a 10" x 7 5/8" oval cardboard sign with orange, black, white, and gold graphics for AERA 50 Years Golden Anniversary Convention and Exhibit 1931 Atlantic City N.J., showing some wear to the graphic, along the edges, and discoloration on the back. A 1905 Electric Railway Map of Rhode Island by Walker & Co. with the map panels on a fabric fold out with cardboard cover. The map appears to be in good condition with general signs of wear to the edges, discoloration, and the map shows some patina from age. A 1922 From North to South by the Electric St. Gotthard Line with fold out map and illustrations by the Swiss Federal Railways, in good condition showing writing marks on the cover and title page, discoloration to the cover, and some discoloration to the map. A hard bound copy of 1903 The Motorman and His Duties A Handbook of Theory and Practice for Operating Electric Cars by Ludwig Guttman in good condition showing heavy discoloration to the cover, worn edges, an bent spine, and writing marks. A binder with a collection of San Francisco's Cable Cars by the Railway and Locomotive Historical Society Pacific Coast Chapter with 12 multi-color prints on heavy stock and a loose small Venture Xograph 3D print card of Presidio Ave California & Market Streets trolley. The prints are protected and appear to be in very good condition with minimal edge discoloration or wear from age. Also includes a binder collection labeled Public Service Coordinated Transport Trolley Lines of approximately 142 mostly photographs, postcards, newspaper clippings, schedules, and tickets from the first half of the 1900s in New Jersey. The majority of the black and white and color photographs are labeled and dated. The content appears to be in good condition with some discoloration and edge wear from age, writing marks on the post cards, and tape on the newspaper clippings.
