Pennsylvania and Columbia Railroad Original 40 Pound Rail and Documents from the Pennsylvania Railroad General Office Library Group of items from the Pennsylvania Railroad General Office Library. The highlight is a section of rail from the Philadelphia and Columbia Railroad. The rail is 40 pound rail and includes a paper with the history including the fact that it was recovered as the Pennsylvania electrified the Harrisburg line. Also included is a February 1895 Map of the Delaware and Rariton Canal, Extracts from Minutes of Meeting of the Shareholders of the Great Eastern Railway in 1914, 1942 Army Camp Named for Late Pennsylvania Railroad President, 1961 ICC Transportation Statistics. All items came from the Pennsylvania General Library and are in someway marked as such. Items show light to mild wear.
