Autograph note signed. Brentwood Heights, Los Angeles: circa 1935. A one-page note in pencil on "501 Sunset Boulevard/Beverly Hills, California" stationery, reading in full "That was a grand party you gave last night/Cole." Accompanied by the original envelope written in Porter's hand to Mrs. Mabel Webb of Brentwood Heights. Visible area 7 1/2 x 7 inches (19 x 17 cm); framed with a portrait of Porter at the piano. Folds, else fine and very attractive with large text.

A charming note from Cole Porter, thanking the recipient for a "grand party." Mabel Webb is likely the Welsh-born author of Sulphured Plums and Potted Damsons (1938).
