Condition/Comments: Wonderful and rare large 1920s ceramic dispenser advertises Christo Cola at 5 cents a glass and includes a custom crafted wooden lid. The original top would have been a plunger pump for extracting the liquid inside. The condition of the ceramic is excellent, with no notable chips or cracks (there is one TINY chip at the base). The glaze exhibits some fine crazing but the shine and surface are excellent. There is some mild discoloration along the bottom and a few isolated spots. The imprint is clear and even on both sides. While the lettering shows brush marks, these appear to be original hand-lettering used to produce the piece, not restoration. No part of the urn fluoresces under black light. Some of the gold leaf trim has worn away but it, too, is largely intact. About 8-inch diameter x 13 high including the lid. Fabulous piece! All items are original with no post-production alterations detected unless noted. For more info, questions, or to report errors in this lot contact Dan via email.
