Condition/Comments: Fabulous sign! We have offered a couple of these in the past but a notable difference on this sign is that the center circle around the Eagle-A logo is silver, not gold. All other examples we have seen are gold! The colors and graphic detail on this piece are top notch, with the condition to match. The imprint is near perfect, and there is only light tarnish to the outer edge of the ornate silver backing. Even the copper shroud has not darkened to black or oxidized to green except for one area at 3-o-clock. The black paint on the housing still shines (though there is some light wear and dirt). The only notable blemish is a small crack in the glass that runs parallel to the birds neck. Quite subtle in both the lit and unlit states so it is not a distraction. Works perfectly when powered and looks absolutely stunning! 18-inch diameter x about 7-1/2 deep including the hanging bracket.
