Description
A mid-20th century porcelain cabinet plate by Arzberg Porzellan, a German manufacture established in 1887. Wide gilt rims with elaborate ornamental decor. The central part represents a transfer-printed reproduction of the 1789 painting titled Madame Vigee-Lebrun et sa fille, a self-portrait of the French artist Elisabeth Vigee-Lebrun, 1755 to 1842, with her daughter.
