The present lot and the following lot are two of eight accordion doors commissioned for an interior designed for Jules Leleu as mentioned in Felix Marcilhac, 'Jean Dunand: His Life and Works' p. 339 Felix Marcilhac refers to 'Fish in the Ocean Depths' in his book, 'Jean Dunand: His Life and Works', on page 339, as part of the series of accordion doors made for a Jules Leleu interior, which is presumably the present lot.
