Description
This unlabeled group of over 30 points is a treasure from the Bracken collection with a large lanceolate in the center at 8 in. It has weak shoulders and a flaked bottom thought to be from Tennessee. There are two Big Sandy E notched points (in the upper left corner) with one side E notch and another E notch on the base, very rare finds from Tennessee at 1.75 in. There is a 4 in. lanceolate with a flat bottom in the Stanfield style also from Tennessee (left of center). There are two drills at the top at 3 in. and 3.5 in. A Scottsbluff lanceolate is at 2.5 in. with a flat bottom and stained from the pitch used to secure it to a shaft (lower right). There is a Hamilton style point at under 1 in. from Tennessee. A Hardaway point at .75 in. likely from TN, and a Thebes point also from TN. There is a Gary point (lower left corner) from Arkansas with great coloration. The riker box is 12 in. X 16 in. Please see photo for details.
