Original dust jacket with un-clipped price on the front flap [some wear, small surface damage on the back-cover: see photos]; hard boards, maroon leather with gold lettering on spine; large: 11.1/2" x 10.1/8"; brown endpapers, 135 pages on high quality paper, c.60 full-page color plates; very good condition.
Charlie Dye (1906-1973) was an American artist. Born in Colorado and raised in the West, Charlie Dye became a painter of western genre inspired by the work of Charles Russell. A founding members of the Cowboy Artists of America in 1965, he remained a member until his death.
Joe Neil Beeler (1931-2006) was an American illustrator, artist and sculptor specializing in the field of Western art. In 1965, he co-founded the Cowboy Artists of America (CAA) with Charlie Dye, John Hampton and George Phippen.
