Pierre Jeanneret Kangaroo chair is a staple in the mid-century modern Chandigarh design. All the parts that the chair composes of is made of solid teak wood. The woven backrest and seat stretched across a wooden frame, are iconic elements that make the chair a timeless and trendy signature piece.
The Kangaroo Lounge Chair by Pierre Jeanneret, originally designed for the Chandigarh Administrative Buildings in India designed by his cousin and collaborator Le Corbusier.
The chair, in its perfectly balanced geometry, made with comfortable, natural teak and wicker, offers ideal form and function.
All our pieces are handmade using the same materials techniques that were used during the Chandigarh masterplan in the 1950s.
