With hoop backs having pierced splat flanked by spindles, armrests over shaped seat, on turned legs connected be stretchers.

H: 44 ½ in. W: 21 in. D: 20 in.

Property of a Mid-Atlantic Institution.

Condition

lot 63: both chairs refinished and with rubbing and loss to stained finish, particularly to armrests of both and to seat and spindles of one chair; both are stable and functional, with one being a little wobbly; nail reinforcement to dowel attachment to front right-facing spindle of armrest and to stretchers on one chair; both displaying occasional minor old worm holes commensurate with age
