A GROUP OF THREE CHINESE EXPORT PORCELAIN BLUE AND WHITE 'FIGURAL' DISHES Kangxi Period Comprising a dish painted at the center in inky cobalt with a woman holding a flute and extending floral sprig to two young boys playing with a bird perched on a swing, the garden setting identified by the balustrade, rockery, and willow tree, the cavetto reticulated beneath a blue and white diaper border; a dish painted with three women conversing on a balcony, one holding a fan, another holding a flower, and the third bearing a qin, the rim with four large cartouches each enclosing male scholars in leisurely pursuits all against diaper grounds; and a large charger centered with a shield-shaped cartouche enclosing a lady seated at a table outdoors and a young boy carrying a box of goods, a crown and floral sprigs encircling the cartouche, further floral motifs at the cavetto, the rim with peacocks and flowers. 15 1/4in (38.2cm) diam. of largest (3).
