Artist Biography: Maegan Crowley owns and operates Iron Meagan Metalworks, where she produces custommetalwork and sculpture for residential, public and commercial settings. She established Iron Maegan Metalworks in 2006 and has built a successful business in Dolores with a client list that now spans the country. Maegan has a Masters Degree in Fine Art and is also an educator in her field. She has taught metalsmithing/blacksmithing on a university level as well as numerous craft schools, Penland School of Craft and Haystack Mountain School of Craft to name a few. She is recognized in her field and asked to demonstrate and speak about her unique metalworking techniques to universities and guilds throughout the United States. Maegan has served on the Board ofDirectors for the Artist Blacksmiths of Northern America for 6 years.
