Description
A GROUP OF CHINESE ITEMS, EARLY 20TH CENTURY. To include a hardwood box or rectangular form with carved and pierced panel to the cover; A Hediao nut carving in the form of a boat finely inscribed to base on a stand; Together with a white metal cigarette case decorated to the cover in relief with figures and bamboo landscape scene. Box 25cm length. (3) Provenance: Property of Terence E B Harnden who served as Senior Naval Stores Officer in Hong Kong between 1937 - 1940. Acquired in Hong Kong before returning to England, thence by descent.
