Description
Early Staffordshire Pearlware Ceramics, 18th/19thc. Comprising two covered sugar bowls glazed in blue, green, yellow and brown, a cream jug 'Mischeivous Sport and Sportive Innocence,' c.1820, with scenes of children in relief in a heart shaped cartouche, and a second relief decorated cream jug molded with leaves and berries.
Dimensions: Tallest jug 4.75 in. h.
Condition: Sugar bowls with small chips to feet and interior rims, some glaze wear and loss to yellow glaze to sugar bowl with yellow flowers, as well as a hairline to cover with an associated rim chip/flake. Creamer with children has a restoration to the spout. Second creamer with chips to footrim and touch up (?) to spout.
