1 Escalin - Philip IV, 1642 silver coin issued by the Spanish Netherlands (Lordship of Tournai, Belgian States), 30 mm. Obverse-lion standing creeping to the left holding a sword and holding a shield, Latin lettering translating to; Philip IV, by the grace of God, King of the Spains and the Indies. Reverse-crowned coat of arms crowned of Philip IV on the cross of Saint Andrew. Latin lettering translates; Archduke of Austria, Duke of Burgundy, Lord of Tournai, etc. From the collection of Juliane and Philip Lynch, Shaker Heights, Ohio.Condition: fair, as is.
