Condition
The back of the case is missing the top glass pane and is detached from the case. The banding and top moulding are both detached but present. The bell appears to be a replacement.
The dial has some loss of silvering to the numeral plaques, and one of the numeral plaques is detached but present. The back of the black painted hand is almost fully detached and there is some significant rust around the centre, which should be stabilised. The engraving is crisp and the numerals are clear and easily readable.
The movement is not currently ticking. It is unknown why this is; it may be addressed in a sympathetic service, though this is not guaranteed.
