A PALEOZOIC TRILOBITE FOSSIL, ODONTOPLEURIDA, MIDDLE CAMBRIAN TO FRASNIAN STAGE OF THE LATE DEVONIAN, APPROXIMATELY 520-360 MILLION YEARS AGO, a highly spinose trilobite with bulging eyes and a knobby central ridge extending whispy tentacles, ending with two small perpendicular rear spines, presented in a stone matrix. Height: 11" Width: 12" Depth: 1" Provenance: Estate of Robert William Guynn, Houston, Texas.
Condition
Some apparent seams, a professionally prepared fossil with good presentation; a large specimen.
