A CHINESE EXPORT SILVER TEA CADDY WITH RED AGATE FINIAL, MARKED, EARLY 20TH CENTURY, attributed to Jin Long, a silversmith from Tianjin, the circular lid with relief clouds is centered by a spherical red agate finial over a tapered body with broad shoulders and conical foot, encircled by two dragons emerging from clouds, the foot with four character stamp, height: 5 1/2", diameter: 4"; total approximate weight: 6 troy ounces.
Condition
Some surface spots, patina, buildup, and minor dents occasionally throughout, but otherwise no apparent repairs or damages.
