A CONANT BALL FURNITURE TEAK "SURFBOARD" TABLE WITH STOOL STORAGE, AMERICAN, MID 20TH CENTURY, popularized during the modernist era, the family room furniture is designed with a breakfront shaped surfboard style top with rounded edges, and is raised on turned tapered legs while the reverse is fitted with slide racks fitting the stool tops, conveniently storing three round top tripodal stools below, a burnt brand stamp on the table underside, "Conant Ball Furniture Makers." Height: 16" Width: 64" Depth: 14" Provenance: Collection of P. Solnik, Houston, Texas.
