Description

Mid-Century Modern J.V. Orel Japanese Wooden Dodo Bird Paper Holder. This primitive shaped yellow bird has an adjustable angle of its head, which acts as a letter holder by pressing the back of the head to open the beak. No maker's mark, we believe this is the dodo bird by J.V. Orel for the "Zoo Line," made in Japan.

Dimensions are 6.5 in h x 2.25 in w x 4.25 in d. Condition is good with signs of surface wear throughout, some markings and discoloration, some nicks to wood and edge wear. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
