Newcastle. A George III English provincial silver teapot, of ovoid form, the ogee body with fluted upper section decorated with diaper work, wriggle work, and Greek key, atop an applied oval foot, the rim of which also decorated with Greek key, initialled twice within opposing oval wriggle work cartouche, 'JMS' and 'JES' respectively, with elongated and chamfered spout, the looped handle with ivory insulators, George Murray, Newcastle 1805, height 17cm, ensuite with a matched set of six contemporaneous Newcastle silver teaspoons, each initialled 'JMS', by John Robertson II & John Walton, c.1815, combined weight 565g/18.16ozt gross approx (2) Ivory Declaration Submission Reference Number: 2S64V5N2.
