1941 Play Ball #6 Carl Owen Hubbell MLB Baseball Trading Card. Carl Hubbell is often regarded as one of the best pitchers in the 1930s-1940s. He was the starting pitcher in the 1st ever all star game in 1933, and he holds the record for most consecutive wins by a pitcher with 24. In the 1934 all star game he managed to strikeout Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Jimmie Foxx, Al Simmons & Joe Cronin in succession.
