A fine matched pair of 12-bore sidelock ejector guns by Boss no. 5426 & 5755 In a brass-mounted oak and leather case with canvas cover and makers trade-labelToplevers, ribs and forends engraved '1' and '2' in gold, best bouquet and foliate-scroll engraving, some hardening-colour, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, highly figured stocks (No. 2 with a repaired crack in the upper right horn), the barrels (No. 2 loose on the action) with game-ribs engraved 'Boss & Co., 73 St. James's Street, London.'Weight 6lb. 11oz, 15in. stocks, 29in. barrels, both approx.
