This is such a striking piece of furniture with the writing desk on the game board or with it off. The best piece of papier mache furniture we have sold in 40 years. The mother of pearl workmanship is superior, with gold detail second to none. ( The bottom drawer with fitted compartments sticks, and we got it out to picture as much as we could without forcing it ). The game table writing desk measures 53" high x 22" wide x 18" deep. I can't emphasize what a special piece of furniture this is......Has been in climate controlled storage, and blanket wrapped for over 20 years, from prominent family with ties to Italy and NYC, and later the Hudson Valley.
