Description
World War I American pouch, 5 x 3 in., constructed of khaki canvas, with a metal attachment on the back for suspension from a belt. The front flap bears the crossed guns emblem indicating artillery, with the number ‘67’ and H.Q.’. Held closed by two snap buttons on the bottom. The interior of the flap is maker marked by ‘The Miller-Hexter Co’ and dated ‘1917’. Contained inside is a Carlisle model first aid dressing tin, unused. Also sold with a green cloth belt attachment, marked for the 56th Artillery Regiment. Three pieces, very good.
