Third Reich Police Officer's sword with a 31.5 in. blade and 36 in. overall, made by Robert Klaas of Solingen, the maker mark displayed on the ricasso. The fine black grip still retains its original tight wire wrapping, also featuring a copper German National eagle inserted at the center, with silver oak leaves at the bottom of the grip. Light tarnish to the silver knuckle guard which ends in the usual teardrop quillon. The blade itself bears a few minor areas of oxidation, overall quite clean. Housed within original steel scabbard, with single suspension ring, retaining nearly all black factory paint.
