Description
(1885-1981) Senior Nazi figure and the only woman to have participated in the Munich Beer Hall Putsch, appointed by Himmler a welfare sister for the Waffen-SS at Dachau, played a major role in the construction and administration of that camp. Rare, fine content A.L.S. 'Schwester Pia' on her personal letterhead, 1p. 4to., Oberhaching, Nov. 22, 1976, in German. The unrepentant Nazi writes, in part: '...Fond memories of your visit. Please stand for our Fatherland. You had the opportunity to know an Old Fighter who fought and lived for Germany. Whatever will be, it is our Fatherland...How I have suffered for Germany. No matter what you see, you must still love your Fatherland. We have been brought up to work, to listen, to fulfill our duties, and have friendship...Maybe the new president will work for peace in the world...'. Folds, else fine condition.
