Description
A collection of three pieces signed by fighter aces, includes: Polish ace JOZEF CHALUPA STANISLAW (1915-2004), signature on a small sheet clipped from an official document, with ‘Section, Flight, Squadron’ left blank; Polish ace BOLESLAW DROBINSKI (1918-1995), remembered for heavily damaging the plane flown by Adolf Galland. Typed D.S. 1p. 12mo., [n.p., n.d.], clipped from a larger official document, in part: ‘…Flying near St. Inglevert I noticed an aerodrome on which a large aircraft was taxiing. I came down to about 20 ft. and gave a short burst at the aircraft, which I recognized as a Ju.52, from about 250 yards range. The enemy machine stopped suddenly but I was unable to observe further results…’; and Czechoslovakian ace KAREL MRAZEK (1910-1998), vintage S.P. 5 x 3.5 in. b/w, shows Mrazek standing next to his plane. Signed on verso adding rank and date June 25, 1985. Three pieces, very good.
