Thistle Barque owned by Stewart & lee, 1905, overall 54" long, 12" tall....Thistle; Barque; 1147 tons; Owned by J. & W. Bateman, Fremantle; Built at La Durante in 1883. Registered at Fremantle. Registration no. 8/1899. On 09 May 1903, Thistle (O. Williams) was on voyage from Bunbury to Durban, South Africa with a cargo of timber and 14 passengers and a crew of 16, when she was lost between Bunbury and Durban. 30 died.
