It’s masterfully crafted of the turquoise beads, lapis lazuly, and diamonds staged in textured gold. All the gemstones have even, clean color, as it’s only can be when it comes to a Tiffany’s piece. The gold was shaped by using the casting technique. It’s done by pouring melting metal into cavities shaped in plaster, or any other material that is easy to form. After the gold solidifies, the jeweler hammers it with an anvil and ball pein hammer. This is how this uneven surface was achieved.
