HARPE JOSEF: (1887-1968) German General of World War II, Knight’s Cross winner with Oakleaves and Swords. Harpe was responsible for establishing the Ozarichi death camps, considered to be one of the worst atrocities committed by the Wehrmacht. Signed vintage sepia postcard photograph of Harpe in a head and shoulders pose wearing his uniform and Knight’s Cross. Photograph by Heinrich Hoffmann of Munich.
