A Georgian kinzal of the Quama type, Trabzon-Vilayet, circa 1840-60Zweischneidige Klinge mit beidseitiger schmaler Kehlung. Am Klingenansatz beidseitig blattförmige Marken mit dem Namen des Meisters "????" (Mohamed) zwischen kleinen Pi-Marken. Der achtkantige Griff aus massivem schwarzen Horn mit Beschlägen aus siliertem Silber. Die hölzerne Scheide ist mit geprägtem schwarzen Leder überzogen (Fehlstellen oberhalb des Mundblechs und an der linken Seite). Mundblech aus floral nielliertem Silber, kräftiges eisernes Ortblech mit durchbrochen gearbeitetem Dekor. Länge 51,5 cm.Condition: II -
