This is a charming 16" early American Character composition head and cloth body Mama doll.
This doll has a beautiful face with sleepy green eyes, real eye lashes and painted brows.
Back of the neck is marked "American Character " that makes it very early doll
She has cloth body and soft rubber or vinyl arms and legs.
Her Mama box is visible on the back but not working.
She has some older wig, under it she has molded hair.
The outfit appears to be quite old, but I would consider it to be vintage rather than antique.
The doll is in overall good antique condition.
The body would benefit from some cleaning.
There are some scratches on her face and some peels on the paint.
Simply gorgeous!
It is a great doll for a collector.
