The present lot was retailed by Spaulding & Co. of Chicago.

Two jars feature Hawkes' Rock Crystal glass vessels. Engraved monogram to lid of two examples 'MPK'. Impressed manufacturer's mark and retailer's mark to each lid '14K Spaulding & Co Chicago' with number 'X440' or 'X739'. Acid-etched manufacturer's mark to underside of two examples 'Hawkes'. 30.0 dwts. (gross weighable)

Overall very good condition. Smallest example with a dent on lid and few minute grinding chips along lower edge detectable by touch. Monogram has been removed from the lid of the smallest example; the bezel-set cabochon was added later.
