Caswell County, North Carolina, circa 1850, relief carved and shaped crest-rail, distinct stylized pierced and cut scrolled arm and arm supports, serpentine front seat rail, distinctive shaped front legs and rockers.

Condition

Fair condition; while the crest rail is original it has been reset with later dowels and has since broken at the dowels and is detached (but present); later upholstery with fading and wear.
