Description
A Charles X Gilt and Patinated Bronze Oil Lamp, Second Quarter 19th Century. The tapering reeded column with acanthus cast capital above a conforming socle, the square plinth base with griffin and wreath mounts, with applied brass maker's plaque to the front inscribed 'PLACE DES VICTOIRES No. I / GOTTEN / INVENTEUR BREVETE'. Now mounted as table lamp. Together with an associated frosted glass globe.
Dimensions: Height 25 1/2in; width 5 1/4in; depth 5 1/4in.
