Item Details

Description

A vintage Art Deco cast iron umbrella and or cane walking stick stand. A figural work decorated in white enameled metal, modeled as the scene in classical Greco Roman mythology depicting the infant Hercules strangling the serpent sent by the jealous goddess Hera to kill him in his cradle. No apparent makers mark.

Dimensions: 35 X 19 X 10 in.

Condition: Good overall condition having mild to moderate age related surface wear, with evidence of patina, verdigris, and oxidation. Estate fresh to the market.
