DESCRIPTION: Antique Japanese Meiji Period Satsuma pottery bowl of pentafoil-section, depicting a painted motif representing a golden pheasant perched on a blossoming tree. Similar continuous scene is also repeated on the exterior. Marked with Japanese calligraphy stamp hallmark on the underside.
