Hopi necklace by Ted Wadsworth. This necklace features nine sterling silver overlay style tabs around the neckline. The overlays have near perfect lines and cut,and areas have been darkened for contrast. The sterling silver beads are strung on foxtail wire with silver findings at the end to finish the piece off nicely. This piece would look beautiful alone or layered with other necklaces. MAKER: Hallmarked with a rabbit stick (stamped) and the Hopi Silver Craft Guild Sunface mark. Ted Wadsworth (Hopi). Active since 1970s.
APPROX AGE: Vintage (meaning somewhere between the 1930s 1970s).
SIZE: This necklace measures approximately 15 1/4 inches from end to end, and the tabs measure 1 3/8 inches long x 5/8 inch wide. The total weight for this item is 52.7 grams.
