Description
Comprising a silver banded Queen-stitch pin ball, Chester County, PA, initialed and dated, “S*H 1804”; a set of four silver buttons, possibly by Thomas Shields (1743-1819), Philadelphia, PA circa 1780, marked; a two-part silver heart-form clasp, maker “IL,” engraved with monogram “C” and “J.D.”; a two-part shell-form clasp, engraved with monogram “M” and “LL”, apparently unmarked; a silver belt hook / buckle, possibly Miles Beach (1743-1828), Goshen, CT, circa 1765-1785, marked; a silver navette-form pill box with bright-cut decoration, engraved with monogram, “AC,” maker “IT,” late 18th century, marked; a bright-cut silver needle case, maker “FS,” marked, together with gilt metal needle; three pairs of silver or gilt eyeglasses, circa 1830s, one pair by E. Borhrek, Philadelphia, PA, another gold pair, by Cyrus Patten, New York, NY, circa 1839, marked “Patten,” and the third pair marked “McCallister Philadelphia” and initialed “A II,” and “27”, two accompanied by cases; and a copper tobacco box, engraved, “William Rees. PA/ Jermyn."
